What Are All Stars?
Little League All Stars is an exciting postseason opportunity for players who have demonstrated exceptional skills, sportsmanship, and dedication during the regular season. Being nominated as a potential All Star is an honor that recognizes a player's abilities and commitment to the sport. The tournaments start at the district level and teams must win to advance through the tournament. The 8–10-year-old and 9–11-year-old tournaments culminate at the state Level. The Little League (Majors), Intermediate 50/70, Junior League, and Senior League tournaments all conclude at a World Series featuring teams from around the world. Additionally, we form a Renegades team (8–10-year-olds) and a Hooligans team (11–12-year-olds) for those players/families who prefer a shorter commitment.
How are the teams selected?
Managers from Minors and Majors will meet on Sunday, May 18th to vote on those that were nominated to form the teams listed below. Although a nomination is a great honor, it DOES NOT guarantee your child a spot. It is important to discuss as a family to ensure that you and your player are willing and able to dedicate your summer vacation to practices and games for the Tournaments listed below. If you cannot dedicate your time or your player is NOT interested. Please let us (the player agents) know no later than Friday, May 9th.
How are Managers Selected?
Coaches who are interested in Coach Post Season Teams (All Stars) must submit an email to the Reno National Player Agent stating their interest. Minor coaches can only apply for the Renegades or 10U All Star teams.) The All-Star Selection Committee then meets to select postseason Managers and notify nominees of their decision Manager applications will be evaluated equally on the following 5 criteria (other factors may also be considered):
Coaching Requirements:
- Ability to coach/teach proper baseball skills;
- Leadership: Demonstration of leadership in bringing a team of players together;
- Code of Conduct: How a Manager/Coach conducts him/herself during the season towards players, parents, coaches, other teams, and umpires;
- Team Spirit: Exhibits a team spirit and would be a positive representative of RNLL;
- Commitment: Successful commitment/completion of regular season coaching responsibilities and willingness to participate and contribute to RNLL.

Fees include the fee for the tournament play and the Uniform (Jersey, Pants, Hat, and Belt (socks can be provided if coaches choose so)).
IMPORANT:
All Players MUST be available for all practices and Tournaments or Renegades/Hooligans only. For example, if they are not available for Renegades/Hooligans, they cannot be nominated for All Stars only. If they want to play, but cannot make the full All Star commitment, they can be marked Renegades/Hooligans only, but this information must be provided in the player profile. Practices for post-season teams will start immediately after the end of the regular season and will last through the tournament dates, so this is an extended commitment. Coaches are asked to make certain to communicate that being the player being nominated does not guarantee selection to a team so coaches should not share nominations with players directly.
